Louisiana State Police are investigating multiple crashes on after a fatal early morning crash on I-10 East before the Mississippi State Line near Mile Marker 270 led to heavy congestion and backups.LSP reports that one person was killed in a crash. A right lane remains blocked with backups past the I-10/I-12/I-59 interchange in Slidell. Drivers should consider taking an alternate route.
