Detroit I-75 Reopens after Fatal Motorcycle Crash

Early on Thursday morning, a tragic incident occurred on I-75 in Detroit, resulting in the death of a motorcyclist who was rear-ended by another driver. The crash led to the closure of various sections of the highway, but it has since been reopened. The motorcyclist, a 33-year-old from Sterling Heights, was traveling northbound near Grand River when a Chevy Trailblazer collided with the motorcycle, causing the rider to lose control and crash. Despite being taken to the hospital, the motorcyclist sadly passed away. The driver of the Trailblazer, a 20-year-old man from Warren, declined medical assistance at the scene. Michigan State Police conducted a thorough investigation, which necessitated road closures, but normal traffic flow has now resumed.
