Delaware teenager dies in Cecil County motorcycle crash
A Delaware teenager died Sunday in a motorcycle crash in Cecil County, according to police.Maryland State Police said a preliminary investigation indicates two motorcycles — a Kawasaki and a Yamaha — were traveling south on Maryland Route 213 at Leeds Road. Police said the Kawasaki's driver, a 19-year-old man, tried to pass the Yamaha but struck the side of the motorcycle.Police said the Kawasaki's passenger, a 17-year-old girl from Wilmington, was taken to a hospital, where she died.The driver of the Yamaha was not injured, police said.An investigation continues.
