Debris from soda cans after Interstate 70 crash in Wayne County

Soda cans were scattered across Interstate 70 in Wayne County after a multi-semi crash near mile marker 145 on Sunday. One of the trucks was hauling Canada Dry beverages. No injuries were reported in either the initial crash or the subsequent collision that occurred as officials were clearing the road. Indiana State Police noted that distraction likely played a role in the second crash. The incidents caused lengthy traffic disruptions, with clean-up and investigations lasting over six hours. Police were still on site as of the latest update, despite both lanes of I-70 westbound being reopened. The Centerville exit ramp remained closed at 5:50 p.m.
