Fatal Three-Vehicle Collision in Modesto A tragic accident involving three vehicles occurred early Sunday morning at the intersection of West Main Street and South Moffett Road in Modesto. The collision, which was reported at 2:26 a.m. on June 1, resulted in one fatality and major damage to the vehicles involved – a Honda Element, a 2015 blue Honda Civic, and a Dodge Charger. The crash, a head-on collision affecting both eastbound and westbound lanes, prompted response from emergency crews, including American Medical Response and local fire units. Unfortunately, one individual was pronounced dead at 2:42 a.m. Identification of the victim has not been released yet. Following the incident, the roadway was closed temporarily for investigation and vehicle removal. By 5:54 a.m., all vehicles were cleared, and the road reopened.
