Deadly collision in Tulare on Highway 99, north of Bardsley Ave

Minivan Collision with Construction Vehicle on Highway 99 Results in Fatality A tragic incident unfolded on Highway 99 in Tulare, California, as a minivan collided with a construction vehicle, resulting in the death of one person and injuries to another. The California Highway Patrol in Visalia reported that the crash occurred in an active construction area on April 30th at around 11:30 p.m. According to traffic investigators, a Nissan minivan was heading southbound in the second lane when it struck a construction vehicle being driven by a worker subcontracted by Caltrans. The impact occurred at the right rear side of the construction vehicle. Emergency services responded swiftly, transporting the minivan driver to Adventist Health Tulare, where unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries. The construction worker suffered minor injuries and received medical treatment. The CHP Multidisciplinary Accident Investigation Team has taken charge of the inquiry to determine whether the construction vehicle was partially in the second lane or if the minivan had swerved into the construction zone.
