
Deadly collision in Detroit following police chase on western side
On Friday night, a chase in Detroit resulted in a fatal collision on the west side of the city. According to Detroit police, authorities stopped a vehicle believed to be stolen from Redford. As they approached the car, the driver quickly fled, prompting a pursuit with Detroit police. The chase ended in a crash at Puritan and Murray Hill involving two badly damaged vehicles. The driver of the suspect's vehicle reportedly collided with the other car. The suspect attempted to escape but was apprehended a few blocks away. Tragically, a man in his 60s in the other vehicle died at the scene. The suspect, a man in his 20s, fled and later was found in stable condition at a hospital.
