Deadly collision between car and motorcycle near Ford Claycomo facility
Authorities are currently looking into a tragic accident that occurred early this morning near the Ford plant in Claycomo. The incident involved a car and a motorcycle, resulting in a fatality for the motorcyclist. The collision occurred at around 5:50 a.m. on U.S. 69 close to Grove Street in Claycomo. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was heading east when a car traveling in the opposite direction attempted to turn left into a nearby parking lot. The motorcycle collided with the car, leading to the motorcyclist being thrown from the bike and fatally injured. The individual lost their life at the scene of the crash. As a result of the ongoing investigation, U.S. 69 in the vicinity of the Ford plant has been shut down.
