Deadly Accident on 15 Freeway, Nipton Road in San Bernardino County
A tragic incident occurred on Thursday afternoon near Nipton Road on Interstate 15 in San Bernardino County. A multi-vehicle collision involving several vehicles, including a red SUV, a Honda, and a white pickup truck, resulted in injuries and sadly, a woman lost her life. Emergency responders including California Highway Patrol officers and firefighters arrived at the scene to assist those injured. The crash led to lane closures on the northbound I-15 as crews attended to the victims and cleared the area. Tow trucks were called for the vehicles involved, and the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Office was asked to notify the coroner. Following several hours of response and investigation, all lanes were eventually reopened later that evening. The cause of the crash is currently being looked into.
