Deadly accident in Greensboro with pedestrian
On Wednesday morning, Greensboro Police Department officers were called to a location near Interstate 40 West and the ramp to Interstate 785 North. At the scene, it was reported that a 19-year-old man driving an Infiniti G37 on the ramp struck a pedestrian who was illegally walking on the highway. Unfortunately, the pedestrian passed away at the scene and their identity is currently being withheld. The Infiniti driver received a citation for violating a learner's permit restriction by not having a supervising driver. The police found no other contributing factors to the accident.
