Deadly Accident Closes US 22 in Lebanon County: PennDOT

A tragic accident on Tuesday evening, July 23, resulted in the closure of U.S. Route 22 in Lebanon County for several hours, with an extended closure between Gravel Hill Road and Jonestown Road. The fatal crash occurred around 4:30 p.m. near Coon Creek Road in East Hanover Township, Lebanon County, as confirmed by PennDOT spokesperson Fritzi Schreffler in a recent email. Despite being initially reported as a standard traffic incident, Pennsylvania State Police later confirmed the crash as fatal.
