Cyclist suffers serious injuries in hit-and-run incident in Lawrence County

A cyclist in Lawrence County was seriously injured in a hit-and-run accident. The incident took place around 6:17 on Tuesday evening at Lawrence 2210 and Business 60 in Aurora. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a Chevy Truck forced the cyclist off the road while he was riding his 2000 Yamaha V-Star motorcycle and then fled the scene. The 65-year-old male cyclist sustained severe injuries and was transported to Cox South Hospital in Springfield for medical treatment.
