CSP: Two dead in Pueblo West collision
Early Thursday morning in Pueblo West, a tragic crash resulted in the deaths of two individuals, as reported by the Colorado State Patrol (CSP). The incident occurred when a 2018 Audi sedan, traveling at a high speed along South McCulloch Boulevard towards West Idaho Springs Drive, lost control while attempting a left turn. The driver braked and steered left, causing the car to spin and subsequently hit various objects before rolling over. Three of the four occupants were ejected from the vehicle, with both the driver and one passenger succumbing to their injuries at the scene. The remaining two individuals were hospitalized for treatment of moderate to serious injuries. The CSP is investigating excessive speed and intoxication as potential factors in the crash.
