Crash claims life of Blair County woman
BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- A late-night crash left a Williamsburg woman dead, according to Blair County Coroner Ray Benton. While details on the crash are limited, Benton stated the coroner's office was called to William Penn Highway (SR 22) near Fox Run Road just before 11 p.m. on April 23 for a death investigation. Upon arrival, 41-year-old Christina Fox was pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash. Pennsylvania State Police report that Fox was traveling east when her Honda Accord crossed the double yellow lines and hit a Jeep. The driver of the Jeep was flown to Conemaugh Memorial Hospital. The passenger of the Jeep was taken to UPMC Altoona with suspected minor injuries. Stick with WTAJ on-air and online as we continue to learn more about the deadly crash.
