Cowboys player Diggs ruled out for Sunday due to home accident - coach
The Dallas Cowboys will be missing cornerback Trevon Diggs in their upcoming game against the Washington Commanders due to him being in concussion protocol following an incident at his home. Cowboys head coach Brian Schottenheimer confirmed that Diggs displayed concussion symptoms upon arriving at the team facility and has been ruled out for Sunday's game. Schottenheimer provided limited details about the incident, mentioning that the team is still gathering information and did not confirm if Diggs had fallen. Pro Bowl wide receiver CeeDee Lamb is set to return after recovering from a high ankle sprain that caused him to miss the last three games. On the Commanders' side, head coach Dan Quinn announced that receiver Terry McLaurin will not be playing in the upcoming game. The Cowboys will face the Commanders on Sunday at 3:25 p.m., with the game airing on FOX 4. Diggs, who has 18 passes defended this season, signed a lucrative contract in 2023. The Cowboys currently have the highest yards surrendered per game in the NFL and are 31st in opponent points per game.
