Coroner reports woman's death at Upstate hospital post-crash
A tragic incident occurred on Monday night as a woman from Travelers Rest lost her life in a car accident. The Greenville County Coroner's Office identified the victim as 73-year-old Thersea Horton, who succumbed to blunt-force trauma injuries. The collision took place on the access ramp of Poinsett Highway at Old Buncombe Road involving another vehicle. The accident occurred at around 6:45 p.m., and despite efforts, Horton passed away at the hospital. The authorities have ruled her death as accidental.
