Coroner identifies victim in fatal Upstate crash

Officials in Anderson County, South Carolina, responded to a fatal crash on Wednesday afternoon.The Anderson County Coroner's Office said authorities responded to Trail Road in Iva, near Highway 284 at approximately 5:15 p.m. One victim, who has been identified as 85-year-old Larry R. Trumbull, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the coroner.Officials say Trumbull was driving on Trail Road when he lost control of his vehicle and travelled off the right side of the road, overturned several times, and was ejected.The coroner reported Trumbull was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the incident.Authorities believe a medical emergency resulted in Trumbull losing control of the vehicle.The cause of death has been determined to be multiple traumatic injuries due to blunt force trauma, and the manner of death has been ruled accidental.
