Corner identifies victim in crash
The Orangeburg County Coroner's Office has identified the victim in Thursday's fatal crash. Coroner Sean Fogle identified the victim as 25-year-old Shyreik Davis. A Honda Accord traveling east on U.S. 176 ran off the road while trying to avoid a deer, overturned, and hit a tree, according to authorities. Davis died at a hospital in Charleston from their injuries. A passenger was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
