Connection between Indiana man and Georgia murder, deadly Kentucky accident
Frankfort, Kentucky - Authorities following a homicide investigation in Dalton, Georgia, were led to Franklin County, over 300 miles away. The Dalton Fire Department responded to a house fire on Grimes Street early January 10th, and discovered a badly burned body at the scene. Although the victim has not been positively identified yet, Dalton police have reason to believe they know who she is. Shortly after, a woman contacted police claiming her brother, Ryan Ebler, had killed his girlfriend. The victim's vehicle was found missing, but was later located by Kentucky State Police, leading to a high-speed chase on the interstate that tragically ended in a fatal crash involving Ebler. State authorities confirmed that the crash was related to the house fire in Dalton. Investigations are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding this tragic incident.
