Colorado police still pursuing kidnapping suspect after chase, collision
Law enforcement agencies in the Front Range area of Colorado are continuing their search for a kidnapping suspect, Heriberto Vazquez Mosqueda. The chase that took place ended with a crash in the Anthem neighborhood in Broomfield, where the victim was rescued. Mosqueda, who was armed at the time of the incident, fled the scene on foot, and intensive efforts have been made to locate him, with the use of K9 units, drones with night vision technology, and the Colorado State Patrol airplane. Despite these efforts, Mosqueda remains at large. Authorities have not found any evidence suggesting he is still in the immediate vicinity of the crash. Fort Collins Police Services has issued a warrant for Mosqueda's arrest on charges of kidnapping and menacing. Anyone with relevant information or who notices anything suspicious is urged to contact authorities immediately.
