Closure of I-90 East in Lake County
Travelers in Lake County, Ohio experienced slow-moving traffic this Monday morning following a major accident. The incident, involving two semis and a tow truck, occurred just after 5:45 a.m., resulting in the closure of all eastbound lanes of I-90 at State Route 44. Fox 8's Patty Harken relayed that one semi caught fire during the crash, which was promptly extinguished. Emergency services reported one individual was transported to the hospital, although the severity of their injuries remains unknown. The traffic congestion also spilled over to the westbound lanes of I-90 as a result of onlookers.
