Car crashes into Pawtucket river, people trapped inside
PAWTUCKET, R.I., (WPRI) — A vehicle has crashed into the Seekonk River Sunday evening. First responders in Pawtucket were called to a scene on 100 Taft St where the car was submerged in the Seekonk River by Centreville Bank Stadium. East Providence, Warwick, Seekonk, and Cranston rescue teams are on the scene as well. 12 News reports several boat and dive teams are on scene as well. 12 News has reached out to Pawtucket police for more information.
