Car crashes into building in North Center
CHICAGO — Emergency crews were called to the scene after a car crashed into a building on the city's North Side on Tuesday morning. While details surrounding what led up to the crash are currently unclear, the incident appears to have unfolded at the Advocate Medical Group Immediate Care Center located in the 4000 block of North Western Avenue, in North Center. SkyCam 9 was over the scene around 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday when the damaged building could be seen from overhead. The car appears to have crashed into a window located near the building's main entrance, Officials from Advocate Health confirmed that a car had crashed into the building and said no injuries were reported."Earlier today a vehicle crashed into our clinic. We are grateful that no one inside the building was injured. Patients whose appointments are impacted by this incident will be contacted to reschedule. We appreciate their understanding and want to thank our teammates who quickly reacted to ensure everyone was safe," an Advocate Health Care spokesperson said. It remains unclear what led up to the crash.
