Car crash in Frederick leaves two dead, police say
FREDERICK COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Frederick Police Department confirmed two fatalities in a car crash that happen shortly after midnight, early on Thursday. Police responded to the area of the roundabout at S. East Street at around 12:53 a.m. for a crash involving multiple injuries. Police said that the investigation is still ongoing, and will not release additional information until the next of kin are notified about the deaths. A crash reconstruction investigation is underway.
