Car becomes airborne in fatal crash in Huron County
Officials from the Ohio State Highway Patrol are currently looking into a fatal accident that occurred in Huron County. The incident took place on State Route 60 near Auster Road at approximately 7:45 p.m. on Thursday. Reports indicate that a driver traveling south on SR-60 veered off the road, striking a cement culvert and then colliding with multiple trees before being ejected from the vehicle. The driver has been identified as 35-year-old Daniel Palko Jr. from Amherst. The details surrounding the crash are still being investigated.
