Brownsville police investigate fatal single-vehicle crash
BROWNSVILLE, Texas (ValleyCentral) — The Brownsville Police Department is investigating a fatal single-vehicle crash. At approximately 4:22 a.m., Brownsville police responded to the 500 block of Ruben M. Torres regarding a single-vehicle crash, according to a news release from Brownsville PD. When officers arrived, they discovered a vehicle that crashed into a tree. The vehicle had sustained major damage due to the crash. The vehicle was only occupied by the driver, who was declared dead at the scene, the release added. This is an ongoing investigation.
