Brandywine industrial accident leaves 2 men critically injured, officials say
BRANDYWINE, Md. (DC News Now) -- Two men are in critical condition following an industrial accident that took place Saturday morning in Brandywine, according to officials. The Prince George's County Fire and EMS Department said the incident took place shortly before 9:30 a.m. in the 14900 block of Elion Way. PGFD spokesperson Mike Yourishin told DC News Now that it appears the two men were conducting air-pressure testing on a pipe system at the time of the incident, though specific details remain unclear. Responders took both workers to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries. Officials noted that the Prince George's County Police Department is investigating.
