Binghamton crash involves three vehicles - WIVT
UPDATE: The Binghamton Police have named the drivers involved in Monday's tragic collision as Safwan Aziz of Binghamton, aged 49, and Rafael Cuadra of Susquehanna, PA, aged 71. The crash occurred around 4:30 pm on July 7th at Court Street and Century Drive, prompting the closure of the area to traffic. Responding to a three-car collision, authorities found that Aziz, driving a sedan, and Cuadra, driving an SUV, had both succumbed to the impact of their head-on crash. The third vehicle involved sustained damage, and its driver was taken to Wilson Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening. The investigation involved both Binghamton and New York State Police, and those with relevant information are urged to reach out to the Binghamton Police Detective Bureau at (607) 772-7080.
