Authorities investigate fatal Metrolink crash in Los Angeles County
At least one person was killed Wednesday morning when a Metrolink train slammed into a car in Glendale. The crash was reported around 9 a.m. near San Fernando Road and West Broadway. Sky5 was over the scene at 9:45 a.m., where crews were working to assess the situation. A badly damaged silver sedan with its airbags deployed could be seen near the tracks. Two people were reportedly inside the vehicle at the time of the crash, and one person was pronounced dead at the scene, Rich Prickett reported from Sky5. The condition of the second person was not immediately known. A Metrolink train was stopped on the tracks near the crash site. This is a developing story.
