Another motorcyclist fatally injured at intersection
A deadly crash involving a motorcycle and a car occurred at the intersection of Union Boulevard and Garmish Road in Colorado Springs on Tuesday afternoon. Tragically, the motorcyclist involved in the collision was found deceased at the scene. This incident marks the second fatal motorcycle crash at the same location in just four days, with another fatality occurring last Saturday after a collision with an SUV. The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to both incidents and the Major Crash Team is investigating. Union Boulevard is currently closed in both directions, prompting CSPD to advise drivers to find alternative routes. The CSPD issued this alert around 4 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12th, indicating closures between Vickers Drive and Keystone Circle.
