Aircraft goes down in Macon County with three passengers
The Macon County Sheriff's Office in North Carolina reported a plane crash near Iotla Valley Elementary School in Franklin on Thursday afternoon. Fortunately, all students and faculty at the school were unharmed. The crash involved a Cirrus SR225 with three individuals on board. Both the Federal Aviation Administration and National Transportation Safety Board are conducting investigations, while the North Carolina Highway Patrol is also on-site.
