Accident with injuries reported in Daviess County
UPDATE: The road is back open. See the original story below. HENDERSON, Ky. (WEHT) -- Crews are on scene of an accident with injuries in Daviess County. According to the Daviess County Sheriff's Office, the accident was called in at 8:06 p.m. in the 4500 block of State Road 54 at Water Wheel Way. Officials say the road will be shut down for an unknown amount of time. One person was injured, but police say they only suffer minor injuries. The Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Thruston-Philpot Fire Department and Daviess County Fire Department are all on scene. Police ask people to avoid the area.
