9 people hospitalized after 7-car crash on I-225, Aurora police report
A major incident occurred on Friday night in Aurora, Colorado, when a seven-vehicle collision on Interstate 225 led to nine individuals being hospitalized. The Aurora Police Department reported that the crash happened close to Parker Road in the southbound lanes around 10:24 p.m. Among the injured, one person suffered severe injuries. Due to the crash and ensuing investigation, southbound I-225 was closed for several hours. The Aurora Police Department stated that a 17-year-old boy, who was allegedly speeding and failed to slow down for traffic due to a previous crash, caused the collision. Both the teenage driver and passenger sustained injuries, with the driver later being arrested on an outstanding felony warrant after treatment and was cited for the collision.
