4-car collision leads to major traffic delays on I295 in Falmouth
A collision occurred on the southbound side of interstate 295 near the Falmouth Spur on Wednesday morning, leading to significant traffic delays during the commute. A Maine's Total Coverage staff member observed a sedan partially under the back of an SUV, blocking one lane. The Maine State Police stated that four vehicles were involved in the crash. As of 8:15 a.m., traffic had backed up for several miles, reaching Tuttle Road in Falmouth. By 8:45 a.m., the congestion extended nearly to Exit 17. Police confirmed that all injuries were minor.
