$30,000 stolen from Greg Biffle's estate after plane crash

A home in Mooresville, North Carolina, that belonged to the late NASCAR driver Greg Biffle, who tragically passed away in a plane crash with his family in December, was burglarized shortly after his death, according to the Iredell County Sheriff's Office. The break-in occurred on the evening of January 8, with the stolen items listed as $30,000 in cash and a backpack valued at around $30. The incident is classified as burglary with forcible entry, and authorities are actively investigating the case. To date, no arrests have been made, and investigators are examining all available evidence, including digital information. This burglary took place just weeks after the fatal plane crash that claimed the lives of Greg Biffle, his wife, his children, and others. The National Transportation Safety Board is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the crash, with a preliminary report expected to be released soon. A public remembrance service honoring Greg Biffle is scheduled for this Friday at Bojangles Coliseum, beginning at 11 a.m. with doors opening at 10 a.m.
