3 dead from Geneva Lake boat accident during severe storms
LAKE GENEVA (WLUK) -- Three people have died at Geneva Lake following a boating accident during a severe storm. According to the Walworth County Sheriff's Office and FOX 6 News, a boat overturned during a storm that caused damage across the county Friday afternoon. Upon arrival, emergency crews rescued seven people who were on the boat. Three other occupants were later found and pronounced dead at the scene. Their deaths are under investigation. The City of Lake Geneva has declared a state of emergency due to the storms.
