26-year-old Upstate man dies after skateboarding accident, coroner says
A Williamston, South Carolina, man has died weeks after a skateboarding accident. The Anderson County Coroner's Office said Troy Adam Link, 26, died Tuesday at the hospital.EMS and deputies were called on March 9 to a fall on West Main Street. They said they found Link in the road and he was flown to the hospital. A preliminary investigation showed Link was riding his skateboard when he hit an object in the road, which caused him to fall and hit his head. Link's cause of death was traumatic brain injury and the death has been ruled an accident.
