20-year-old killed after exiting moving UTV in Jefferson County crash
JEFFERSON COUNTY (KSNT) - State troopers have released the name of a person who died after a crash incident in northeast Kansas last Sunday night. The Kansas Highway Patrol reports the crash victim is 20-year-old Nicholas Brull of Effingham, Atchison County. He died as the result of a UTV crash incident last weekend in Jefferson County. State troopers responded to reports of a crash around 8:50 p.m. on March 8 at the intersection of Half Mound Road and Coal Creek Road north of Valley Falls. Troopers learned that two UTVs were traveling side-by-side at the time of the crash incident. The KHP reports that a passenger in the rear of one UTV, later identified as Brull, exited the vehicle while it was in motion. The second UTV then hit the passenger. For more local news, click here.
