2 killed identified in crash involving big rig, 3 other vehicles on Highway 99 near Lodi
Two people who died in a multi-vehicle crash that included a big rig on Highway 99 near Lodi have been identified. Clark James Fojas, 20, and Peter Joshua Fojas, 16, both from Stockton, were identified as the victims in the crash, according to San Joaquin Medical Examiner's Office. Previous coverage in the video aboveThe crash was reported around 12:21 p.m. on northbound Highway 99 near the Harney Lane offramp, according to California Highway Patrol online logs. CHP said four vehicles were involved in the crash, but it is not clear who died from which vehicle. One of the drivers tried to flee the scene and was detained, CHP said. The big rig driver, identified as Manvir Singh, is facing multiple charges including vehicle manslaughter, hit-and-run resulting in death or injury and obstructing or resisting a police officers.Singh appeared in court on May 21, where he entered a not guilty plea. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security said Singh is an undocumented immigrant from India and asked Gov.
