1 person hurt in semi accident on Highway 18 close to Snoqualmie, WA
An individual sustained serious injuries and was hospitalized following a semi-truck collision on Wednesday morning along State Route 18 near Snoqualmie. The incident occurred after 6 a.m. in the westbound lanes close to Tiger Mountain Summit at milepost 25. According to Washington State Patrol Trooper Rick Johnson, the semi-truck collided with a tree and went off the road, resulting in the driver sustaining lacerations and a head injury. The injured party was transported to a nearby hospital with serious injuries. Due to the crash, one lane was blocked, and the Washington State Department of Transportation indicated that the closure could last a while, so drivers in the area should expect delays.
