1 person dead, 1 with critical injuries following motorcycle-involved collision in Georgetown
UPDATE: April 18 at 9:50 p.m. One person is dead and one is with critical injuries following a collision in Georgetown involving a motorcycle.Georgetown Police report that a vehicle was making a left-hand turn onto Lexington Road from McClelland Circle, while a motorcycle was driving southbound on Lexington Road when the two collided.The driver of the motorcycle died on scene from his injuries. A passenger has been transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries. The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries from the collision. There are currently no criminal charges expected and the collision remains under investigation. The roadway is expected to be closed for an extended period of time.
