1 injured in New Baden multi-car collision
In Clinton County, Illinois, an individual sustained injuries in an early morning accident on Friday on Interstate 64 in New Baden. The incident took place around 3:10 a.m. on the westbound side of I-64 near the New Baden exit. It involved a tractor-trailer and two additional vehicles. The extent of the injured person's injuries is currently undisclosed. Authorities were observed at the crash site extinguishing a fire on the tractor-trailer. Following the accident, the left inside lane of the highway was closed while crews cleared the area, but has since been reopened.
