1 dead after driver veered off Oregon highway, struck tree
PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) -- A single-car crash on Highway 26 took the life of a 38-year-old man on Thursday evening, Oregon State Police announced. Officials say the crash occurred just after 11 p.m. near milepost 47 in Clackamas County. According to OSP, Daniel Lee La Blue was driving west on the highway near Rhododendron in a gold Kia Sorento when he "crossed over the highway for an unknown reason and struck a tree." He was declared dead at the scene.
