Youth discovered unconscious following UTV accident in Alexandria, sheriff reports
A young individual is in critical condition following a UTV rollover incident that occurred in the early hours of Friday morning in Alexandria, Minnesota. The Douglas County Sheriff's Office was informed about the accident around 12:30 a.m. at Geneva Road near County Road 20. A call to 911 reported the UTV overturned with the victim inside and unresponsive while still buckled up. The boy, who was not wearing a helmet, was initially taken to Alomere Hospital with severe injuries and later airlifted to a trauma center for further treatment, as the sheriff reported. The preliminary findings suggest the victim was speeding on northbound Geneva Road, leading to a loss of control and subsequent rollover of the UTV. The sheriff's office is continuing its investigation and has not disclosed details about the boy's identity, exact age, or current status.
