
York County coroner called to the scene of multiple police officer shootings
In North Codorus Township, York County, a shooting incident involving multiple police officers occurred on Wednesday afternoon resulting in two individuals being in serious condition at WellSpan York Hospital. The York County Coroner's office and U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi have confirmed the incident. The emergency call came in at 2:10 p.m. reporting the incident near Haar Road and Senft Road. Governor Josh Shapiro and Attorney General Dave Sunday have both responded to the area, with law enforcement agencies including the FBI, ATF, and Department of Homeland Security also on site. The Consulate of Mexico in Philadelphia is monitoring the situation as a precautionary measure. Lt. Governor Austin Davis and other officials have expressed concern and called for prayers. The Spring Grove Area School District was briefly on lockdown during the incident, but students have now been released.
