Yellowstone County Commissioner killed in airplane accident
Yellowstone County Commissioner John Ostlund tragically passed away in an aviation accident on Thursday, June 19, 2025, in the vicinity of the 6100 block of Blue Creek Road, south of Billings. Ostlund, who served as a County Commissioner for six terms, was well-regarded and held leadership roles, both within the commission and the Montana Association of Counties.
