Yazoo County investigates fatal car accident
Officials are currently investigating the tragic events that unfolded in Yazoo County, where a man lost his life in a car accident. The incident began when authorities received a distress call from a man reporting that his vehicle had veered off the road and into a river near a bridge on Satartia Road, close to the Holly Bluff community. The location was initially unclear, prompting the dispatch of Yazoo County volunteer firefighters and deputies to search the area. The Yazoo County dive team quickly mobilized, utilizing boats and divers to locate the submerged car. After a thorough search, the man, identified as 19-year-old Kyeternity Moore from Rolling Fork, was tragically found deceased. The Yazoo County Sheriff’s Department and the Mississippi Department of Wildlife, Fisheries, and Parks are leading the investigation into the incident.
