Wrong-way crash in Salt Lake City kills 2, injures 1
Early on Saturday morning, a tragic accident on I-15 resulted in two fatalities and one person injured. The incident occurred when a driver entered the northbound lanes driving in the wrong direction, colliding head-on with another vehicle near 1900 South. The driver going the wrong way, who is suspected of driving under the influence, sustained minor injuries and was arrested for DUI. The northbound lanes of I-15 were temporarily closed but have since reopened. The names of the deceased victims and the wrong-way driver have not yet been disclosed by the authorities.
