
Wrong-way crash in central Minnesota injures 5, including children and state trooper
In Sherburne County, Minnesota, authorities are looking into a head-on collision on Highway 10 in Clear Lake that involved a trooper and a group of teenagers. One of the teens is in critical condition following the crash. Some residents in Clear Lake are expressing concern about the safety of this particular stretch of highway, citing the nearby railroad tracks. Witnesses described a chaotic scene, with the road closed for several hours after the collision. The incident left five people, including the trooper and three teenagers aged 15, 17, and 19, hospitalized. Fortunately, the trooper and the 19-year-old have been discharged, but one of the teens remains in critical condition. Minnesota State Patrol Colonel Christina Bogojevic offered condolences to those affected by the crash. A local resident, Nicole Muhammed, shared her own unnerving experience on Highway 10 and questioned the circumstances leading up to the collision. The Sherburne County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation into the crash.
