Worker from East Bay mourned after fatal industrial accident
A tragic incident occurred this week at a repaving construction site in Brentwood, resulting in the loss of a dedicated father and worker from Petaluma, Telesforo Torres Lopez. The 54-year-old was involved in an accident with a skid loader that unfortunately resulted in his passing. Described as a loving and selfless individual by his daughter Salma, Lopez always prioritized helping others and his family. In honor of his memory, a GoFundMe page has been set up to support his funeral expenses, as his loved ones struggle to come to terms with his sudden departure. Lopez took great pride in working hard for his family, and his daughter fondly recalls his compassionate and caring nature towards all who knew him. The passing of Lopez is currently under investigation by the Contra Costa County Coroner's Office and OSHA officials.
